Chai-misu

Chai-misu

We all know the classic tiramisu, and yes, it’s awesome.

But I thought... why not make it with chai instead?

So I did.

And here’s the real kicker... I’d actually never made tiramisu before in my life. So naturally, instead of starting with the original, I went balls deep and made Chai-misu.

And quietly... I’m pretty flippin’ proud of it.

On my first attempt, I ran out of chai concentrate and had to do one less layer of biscuits but like... whatever. It was still so ridiculously delicious I honestly couldn’t believe it.

Creamy, spiced, soft, indulgent, and very easy to throw together. It feels fancy, but it’s absolutely achievable for your average home baker who just wants to make something impressive without losing the plot.

So truly, if you’re looking to spice up your desserts with something easy, a little different, and very bloody yum... this one’s for you.

One little favour before you dig in...

Hot Tip: Use Top Shelf Chai for a more subtle vibe or Cafe Chai for a punchy kick or if you are ballsy use Chilli chai for a true fiery dessert.
